transformational life coaching

About

Coaching and therapy have distinct purposes. Therapy deals with past issues, while coaching focuses on present circumstances and helps plan future moves. As your coach, I help identify your goals and create strategies to achieve them.

Coaching differs from consulting. Consultants are typically brought in for their expertise in identifying issues and offering solutions. I will not provide solutions, instead, I will ask challenging questions that will motivate you to take action towards achieving the life you desire.

Coaching is not mentoring. While mentors offer advice and guidance, ultimately, you are in control of your own life and the aspirations you hold. My role is to assist you in identifying and overcoming any obstacles that may be hindering your progress, helping you to focus and refine your goals.

Coaching is not easy, YOU have to be willing to put in the work for the outcome you desire.

Now that you know what life coaching is not, let me elaborate on the benefits of working with a life coach. A life coach can provide a fresh perspective and help you gain clarity on your goals and aspirations. Through exploration, you can discover the best version of yourself.

A life coach works with you as a partner to help you reach your best self. My job as your coach is to help you create an action plan, hold you accountable for the plan you create, and give you the courage to follow through with the plan in a safe space.

Having a life coach can help you gain self confidence and become more self-aware, improve communication and build stronger relationships, unlock creativity, reduce stress, depression and anxiety. There are countless ways partnering with a life coach can enhance your life. Sometimes all it takes is to be fully HEARD; I’m here to listen and assist you on the journey to personal growth.

About Me!

Hey y’all, I’m Jennifer! Welcome! Let me get the boring details out of the way. My professional career has given me thirty years of customer service experience in various industries. I have over twenty years experience in business and office management, cake decorating and floral design. I am a NC licensed assisted living facility administrator and qualified activities director. I also have an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Technology and certifications including life and spiritual coaching, professional celebrant, Reiki II, and numerous healthcare CEU’s. I am eternally grateful for every career choice I have made because each path led me to start my own business, which is somewhat a work in progress.

I am starting my business as a life coach (or as I prefer to call it “cheerleader”), and yes, I may be the coach they warned you about! I like to have fun, laugh (sometimes inappropriately), I can be unfiltered, sarcastic and sometimes a little loud, but I assure you EVERYTHING has a time and place. Life is too short to be serious all the time.

Beneath all my quirks and playfulness I have been following a path to be of service. At the heart of most personal and professional paths I have followed, I always had a “be of service” mindset. My goal is to specialize in grief and death coaching and to provide a seemingly taboo service for the dying, grieving, and even beyond. Death is inevitable, and so many people are afraid to talk about it.

I have coined myself as a Jill-of-all trades which, to me, means I am constantly learning and trying different things. I am fascinated with the multifaceted spiritual realm and constantly amazed by the beautiful people who continue to show up to assist me on my personal and professional journey. When I’m not learning you might find me in the garden, trying to hone my intuitive abilities, playing with my cats, baking, crafting or pranking my husband.
